Winter sessions can definitely be a challenge for an on-location photographer here in Cincinnati. Marisa contacted me with a great idea for a location that would allow us to move inside should it be necessary, but lo and behold, it was a beautiful day with beautiful light! Little S is such a doll!

I was so happy to get to meet Little T, just before Christmas. He got me super excited to meet my own little man that was due in February. I’m glad mom decided to jump in a few pictures also…aren’t these shots the sweetest? Gotta love those sweet, squishy, little lips!

Let me just say that my husband and I love this couple dearly. Chris and my husband met in college, and we have had the privilege of walking with them through their meeting, engagement, marriage, and the arrival of their first child. What a blessing! Elizabeth is one of those people that you just know is going to be an exceptional mother. If ever there was a person that has a burning desire to see “the captives set free” she is it, and she lives her life as such. And Chris is the kind of man that I know will be devoted to his family forever. Chris and Elizabeth chose to have their baby at home with a team of experienced midwives, and after 26 hours of active labor, little A arrived, healthy, perfect, and blessed to have such awesome parents. Thanks guys, for letting me capture her in all her sweetness.

I decided to squeeze in one last session at this location before the last of the fall color was gone. It seems to stick around this spot a little longer! I was glad I did; I felt like the natural colors of the location looked great with this adorable family’s outfit choices. The two little girls are aged 1 and 4. With those ages you just never know how things are gonna go, but they did great and we all had fun. Thanks W Family!

Baby L is the kind of sweet, squishy little baby that I just love! She was more like an “old-born” when I photographed her. That’s photographer speak for a newborn that’s more than 3 weeks old. This little one was born big and healthy, so believe it or not, in these photos she is only about 6 weeks old. Such a sweetie!
